Jesse Malin

Singer/songwriter Jesse Malin was the face of the glam/hard rock band D Generation for eight years, following the dissolution of Heart Attack, the hardcore punk act he fronted as a teenager in the '80s. Malin, who's a punk with a soft heart, didn't stop writing music. His love for Neil Young, Tom Waits, and Steve Earle affected his work; he spent the next two years working on a fresh, countrified sound. Ex-Whiskeytown frontman Ryan Adams, who'd been a friend of Malin since the D Generation days, was impressed with Malin's new approach. Adams offered to produce Malin's debut album even though he'd never produced a record. The two headed into Lo-Ho Studios in New York in January 2001 and made an album in just six days. - MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide
A Million Years
myspace
A Million Years is a collective of passionate, music-obsessed workaholics -- equally inspired by the intellectualism of bands like Radiohead; the quirk of bands like Wilco and Spoon; and the spunk and punk of bands like Arctic Monkeys. The Brooklyn-based foursome includes Keith Madden (vocals, guitar), Andrew Samaha (bass/vocals), Andrew Vanette (drums/vocals) and Nick Werber (guitar/vocals),

Their recently released 3-song EP Incandescent, produced by Longwave’s Shannon Ferguson, is now available on iTunes and Amazon.com. A Million Years heads back in to the studio with Shannon later this year to record their debut full-length album, (to be released in early 2010) and are set to follow up with some major touring of their own.
Don Dilego

DON DILEGO was born in Western Massachusetts and grew up in the 70's. He often wore a yellow polyester suit jacket and plaid pant combo that his mom thought "was really groovy". Claims to have actually seen The Lone Ranger. First record purchased was Glen Campbell's "Rhinestone Cowboy". Lives in New York City across from Jack's Coffee. Probably drinks too much coffee. Talks to himself a little too much, and has about 200 or so unfinished songs that he "swears will be huge" one day, and is a vegetarian. "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid" can be watched dozens of times on AMC with no loss of joy. Would most likely pick up his acoustic guitar to write a song but should probably do this on piano more often. There are also banjos, basses, harmonicas, tambourines, mandolins, accordians, and a wurlitzer strewn across his room in various states of disrepair. He really wishes he had a dog, but too often finds himself on the road. Mood sways way too proportionately with the successes and failures of the Boston Red Sox. Knows that if he can't decide what to listen to, "Sweetheart of the Rodeo", "Harvest", "Pink Moon" or "Being There" never feel wrong. Loves driving across country by himself and has never smoked a cigarette, though he admits it kinda looks cool sometimes. However, Don is not cool...despite being a lifelong musician. Loves pickup trucks. Some of the most talented people he knows are his friends and they're all broke too.
